Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
YUMMY! They are better once they are cooled completely - delicious, chewy center and a crisp edge. These will be great for holiday gifts! One cookie is almost too much - very rich. I think next time I make them I may use a semisweet and milk chocolate chip mix. These cookies turned out exactly as promised and I was amazed that my cookies looked as great as those pictured! I did not cool the dough in the fridge and they were great!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake I
This is a delicious moist and flavorful cake. I needed something special to say thank you to my father-in-law for fixing my oven in time for the holidays. It was my first cake I made in a bundt pan - and I was impressed with myself for how yummy it was. This is a great recipe! My only problem was with my inexperience using a bundt - my cake broke in a couple places. I did throw some chopped pecans in the struesel for the filling and it was great. I am going to make this again - my neighbor who loaned her bundt pan to me for me to make this in the first place requested that I make it again - her family enjoyed the pieces I shared with her. I got a bundt for Christmas so I can't wait to use it!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
I was looking for an easy chicken slow cooker recipe this was a great one! My husband wasn't feeling well so I actually omitted the soup/cream cheese mixture from the crock pot part and did that on the stovetop for myself. So the only things in the crock pot were the butter, chicken breasts, some sliced baby portabella mushrooms and the italian seasoning. And I have to say WOW! This dish is so flavorful without the sauce that we have been making it every week. The chicken and mushrooms make a really nice broth to pour over egg noodles. I did try the sauce the first time but honestly I liked it better without! There isn't anything wrong with the sauce - it was just that the flavor of the chicken without it was so fantastic I didn't want to add anything to it! I read the reviews and agreed that the butter makes a nice coating and since I always toss in fresh mushrooms, it adds a richness to the flavors - and sometimes I use only half the envelope of seasoning because it can be a bit overwhelming. This is one of our new favorites.
