Wow! Easy, fast, and delicious. Who could ask for anything more? :) I threw some chicken legs and thighs in a crockpot in the morning with some taco seasoning. 5:00p.m rolled around and we whipped up these tortillas, shredded some cheese, scooped on some shredded chicken and had a fabulous dinner! Tips: We used hot water from the tap, which made the dough easy to roll. I used shortening. Cook about 1 minute per side -- the color will look just like the ones you buy in the store -- white with little brown areas. Made 1/2 the recipe and it served 4 people. Total time was maybe 1/2 hour from getting out ingredients to meal on the table. My 11 year old daughter and I used the little wooden rolling pin (basically a small wooden dowel) from my son's Play-Doh set, and that worked WAY better than the big rolling pin. Rolled the dough from center to top edge, then center to bottom edge, then flipped and turned 90 degrees and continued until it was really thin -- thinner than you'd think is ok. The thinner the better because they puff up a bit when you put them in the skillet. These were Fab-u-lous. No more store-bought tortillas for us. Thanks!
