Henry and Maudie's Oatmeal Cookies
These were great. My family loved them. I did make two changes: I only used 1/2 cup of brown sugar because 1 1/2 seemed way too sweet and I added 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Wonderful. I will make these again and again. Thanks!

Simple Beef Short Ribs
Incredible taste. The recipe only calls for 1 pound of ribs which is a very small amount considering most of the weight is in the bones. I used 4 pounds. It took approx. 45 minutes to dredge and brown the ribs. I didn't increase the amount of the liquid though. The amount given in the recipe worked fine for the 4 pounds of meat. I used my Lodge cast iron dutch oven which has a heavy lid and doesn't allow much liquid to cook out. It worked wonderful for the ribs. After about two hours the meat was falling off the bone. The flavor was great. We ate it with a nice crusty bread and sopped up the juice. Divine !!! It was nice to find a rib recipe that doesn't rely on a sweet barbecue sauce. I will definitely make this again and again.

Easy OREO Truffles
Absolutely easy. I refrigerated the balls while I melted the chocolate. Don't melt all your chocolate at once. I used semi sweet baking chips and didn't need two whole 8 oz bags. I used a regular fork to dip the balls into the chocolate but too much chocolate kept sticking to the fork. I had a disposable plastic fork so I broke off the two inside tines and it worked perfectly like a professional candy coating fork. Made the job simple!
