About Me
I love to cook and am always trying new recipes. I cook home cooked meals daily, bake regularly and love to entertain. I have 13+ crock pots and servers and like to use them all when I host large parties and Thanksgiving dinners.
My favorite things to cook
Any kind of dessert. I love to bake and make desserts for my family and friends. I always cook to taste and don't mind getting dirty when making a good meal. I am humble enough to take constructive criticism and suggestions for a better and/or easier dish. I also dabble in ethnic foods and try to mix things up as often as I can.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking cookies at Christmas time for family and friends. Cooking Thanksgiving meals for my family and hosting a Memorial day cookout each year.
My cooking triumphs
Potato salad, Reuben dip, Shepard's pie, Turkey, Country style steak, Mexican pork casserole, pho, Mexican beef stew, Ceviche, Triple berry shortcake, Coconut cake, coconut macaroons, Pina-Colada cake, Banana nut bread, Banana pudding and more.
My cooking tragedies
Chocolate truffles, Salmon, regular tarts, Hot & sour soup, scones, stuffed mushrooms, German food and Sausage & cabbage soup.
