WOW, this was the easiest and tastiest bread recipe I've ever made! Thick, hearty, and delicious. I didn't change anything in the recipe except a few extra oats, and I made 2 loaves instead of 4, and it filled my kitchen with a heavenly aroma and I couldn't help but tear off a hunk of the crispy outer edge and eat it hot from the oven. I made this to complement my St. Patrick's Day stew, and it was a HUGE hit. My father doesn't even like brown bread and he gobbled it up. I served it with an herb butter (just mixed in a bit of dried parsley and basil, salt, and pepper into the butter) and brushed a wee bit over the top right when I served it. Oh MYLANTA, it was amazing. I am actually making more right this afternoon it's in such demand!
