Oh, man. While I was mixing the dough, I thought, "this dough is so tough." I did add three more tablespoons more and used a little less flour. I still worried while I was shaping the pretzels that the finished product would be a flop; the dough really was tough. But! When it came out of the oven, all my fears were put to rest. AMAZING. That's all I have to say. Soft and tasty. A definite do-again. And I might even wrap a hot dog in it! P.S. My baking soda bath probably wasn't too even because my pretzels didn't brown evenly. But that's the most minor detail, ever. Still a 5.
