Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
I was hungry for snickerdoodles one day, and decided to give this recipe a try due to the reviews it received. I didn't have maple sugar, so I used the cinnamon/sugar suggestion of a previous reviewer. My kids helped by rolling the dough in the cinnamon/sugar mixture before dropping them on the cookie sheet, and they had a blast! My family loved these so much, I decided to make them as holiday gifts for friends. They were a hit, and I will use this recipe year round--thanks!!

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2003
This is FABULOUS, and so EASY!! I have made quite a few batches of this fudge in the past couple of weeks. I made rocky road fudge by adding marshmallows. Then I made peanut butter (with no nuts) by adding about 3/4 cup peanut butter chips to the mix, and sprinkling the peanut butter chips on top. And finally, I made raspberry white chocolate chip fudge (with no nuts) by using raspberry flavored chocolate in place of 10 oz of the regular semi-sweet chocolate, and added white chocolate chips on top. GREAT recipe--everyone loves it! Thanks!

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
I must admit that I was skeptical that something so easy could be so good--but it was!! This was delicious, and so easy to put together. I made it when we had a guest for dinner, and everyone loved it! Thanks for the easy recipe!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2003
This was fantastic! It was so easy to prepare, and it was eaten up very quickly. I wasn't sure if my children would care for it, since they think pepper makes things spicy, but they gobbled it up and told me that I should make it often! Thanks for the recipe!

Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2002
I needed an English dish to take to a multi-cultural food tasting party at my daughter's school. I came across this recipe and decided to give it a try. When I made the trial batch, my kids said, "Oooh! Let's make these all the time!" That was enough convincing for me to make them for my daughter's class. I served them with strawberry jelly and hot tea, and they were a hit!! Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken with Couscous

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2002
Wow!!! This was outstanding! My husband raved about it many times. The diced jalepenos I used came from a jar labled "hot", so I only used 1/4 cup, which was perfect for us. Thanks so much for this recipe--it will be used many times in this house!

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2002
Yummmmmy! This was a great recipe! I took some advice from the other cooks, and doubled the wine and the mushrooms. I also let the chicken simmer for about 25 minutes. This was fantastic--and soooo easy! I will definitely be cooking this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2002
The aroma that filled the house while this was cooking was wonderful! The flavor of the chicken was very nice, too. I had been keeping my eyes open for an easy, yummy recipe for a whole chicken, and this one did the trick.

Tofu Parmigiana

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2002
I thought this had a nice flavor, but I think my family prefers the traditional "parmigiana" recipes. I'm glad we tried it, though. Thanks for sharing it.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2002
What a yummy recipe! I have made this twice, once with chicken, and once with boneless porkchops. Both were delicious! I used different flavored fetas, and enjoyed them both. Thanks for the recipe!

Crispy Coconut Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2001
My husband and I thought this was great! The kids didn't like it as much, but that's not unusual, as they like only a certain menu of food at their age. We are thinking of trying it out on shrimp and fish (maybe add a bit of cornmeal to the fish). Thanks for the recipe--it's a definite keeper!!

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2001
Thought this was a good zucchini recipe. I don't think I would mistake it for crab, but thought it was very tasty, and would make it again.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2001
Wow! This was wonderful! It was so easy to throw together, and after being in the oven for 2 1/2 hours, the pork was SO tender! My husband and I love sauerkraut, so this was a big hit to find! My 5 year old son even thought this was outstanding, and he cleaned his plate. We will definitely be using this recipe again. Thanks, Bonnie!

Island Chicken with Fruit Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2001
The marinade/salsa gave the chicken a nice flavor. As far as a side dish of salsa, I would have liked a little more "zing" in flavor, but I think I could modify that by adding a touch of jalapeno, or more chile pepper. All in all, a nice dish--thank you!

Easy Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2001
Very yummy pasta recipe. I might add a little more seasoning next time, but thought it was good the way it is, too. We love artichoke hearts, so it's always great to find a good recipe using them. Thank you for sharing!

Pizza Crust for Bread Machine

My 5 year old son said, "This is the best pizza I have ever eaten!" Then he cleaned his plate! This is probably the best compliment that could come from our house, because he is a very picky eater! Thank you for the wonderful recipe--it will definitely be used again and again.

Salsa II

Reviewed: May 6, 2001
WOW--what a salsa! I cut the recipe in half and canned it, and still had a bunch! Everyone who has eaten this has loved the fresh taste. I did use fewer jalepenos, because I used the seeds when I chopped them. Next time I think I will deseed some of them, and include more jalepenos for their great taste, but not all their spice. I also added more cilantro, because that's what our tastes like. I plan on passing this one out canned, and making more! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!
