Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
Good flavor. I put it over fried rice and served it with store bought egg rolls. However, having said that, my experience with this recipe was too much chicken & not enough sauce. I did notice that it didn't look like enough so I doubled it right from the "get-go". Perhaps my chicken breasts were larger than the ones used in the initial recipe but next time I will triple the sauce and add accordingly. This is quick, and the sauce could be made ahead of time. No problem with it thickening, you just have to be patient. Yes, I will make this again.

Creamy Italian Slow Cooker Chicken
Made this tonight but the four to five hours was way to long as the butter burnt on the bottom of the crock pot but I managed to salvage the meal anyway. In addition to the soup mixture, I think next time the mixture should include some chicken stock to thin it out a bit and perhaps add some stock in the pot while the chicken is cooking so the butter would not burn. It really needs to be "kicked up a notch" with maybe a pinch of ground red pepper and some chopped garlic. The "sauce" was much to thick as is so I think the addition of the stock would help. It's a good basic recipe but needs some culinary imagination.

Garlicky Appetizer Shrimp Scampi
Made thistonight with a few modifications. I put everything in a ziplock bag for about 30 minutes and "squished" it around to distribute everything. Added a bit more EVOO to pan and sauted all until shrimp were cooked thru. Added a splash of white wine and a few red pepper flakes. Served all over fettucinni. Yummy...definitely a keeper and oh so easy.
