Ok......I read just about EVERY SINGLE review....yea, I was bored at work....I tried this with a Top Round roast.....I preheated at 500, put it in the oven and left it at 500 for 29 minutes (my oven was pretty clean but it still gets smoky in the house)....my roast was about 3.3 lbs. I have a gas stove, so I took that in account and left it at 200 for 90 minutes and I must say.....I am VERYYYYYYY full right now! My roast was awesome!!!! I posted a picture if you care to look. I don't like blood red rare, so mine is more of a med to med-rare, but it was very tasty! I'm going to try it next time with a more expensive cut. My 13 year old is very happy! He might not eat again for a whole 2 hours now!
