About this Cook
I am 24 years old, soon to be mommy in october. I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves to eat and is my perfect guinea pig since he will eat anything once or twice. I have been cooking since i was about 4 years old and yes i do mean actually at a stove with my mother turning things and stirring etc. My family was a big family and meal time was when we all came together. I use to watch my grandma, great grandma and my mother cook and help when i could. so my passion is deep.
My favorite things to cook
I love love love to cook asian food and mexican food since they are my favorite. I also love to cook Italian for my boyfriend since its his and am finding alot of recipes i do like for it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every night we ate together as a family a huge meal. I try to keep it alive and keep it fresh and new. Definately something I do want to keep going now that I am starting my own.

FUDGE! that is really a very time consuming activity,

I dont think I have any that I can remember I usually know how to salvage mistakes.

okay my rating is based on what the recipe was bland the second time I sauteed the cabbage and onion with garlic and then i didn't have the egg noodles so I used whole wheat spaghettin. awesome!

Peanut Butter Fudge I
omg this was soo good first off for the ones having problems make sure you look up how to make fudge first like the grainy is you stirred it after the soft ball point...its a little tedious if your not use to making fudge but its worth it!

Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder
Made this when I got home from work. was simple, easy and soo good the only thing I did was I had forgot to add the leek soup so when I had tasted it I thought it was too bland added butter and then remembered the soup added that and my boyfriend gorged himself on it. It was delish. Absolutely fabulous. It didn't thicken up but I am okay with that I know it was because I added too much water but I loved it as is. Will be making this again. Also I did cook it with clam juice but didn't have enough to cook the potatos in it fully and added water with chicken bullion.
