Chocolate Pecan Pie III

I made this pie the other day and let it sit in the fridge overnight and it was HUGE success! I normally don't care for regular pecan pie because it's just too rich and sweet for me. The cocoa helps cut that a bit and it just melts in your mouth. Will definitely make this again!

Holiday Ambrosia Salad

Cake Balls

I've made these several times and they are NOT time consuming to make. The thing that takes the most time is letting them sit in the freezer overnight. This makes it so that the melted chocolate doesn't make the cake crumble when you're dipping. I love that you can make endless combinations of cakes and frostings.

I'm revising my review....I took another person's advice on here and used all the butter and added 3 tbs of water and 3tbs of corn syrup. It was the corn syrup that helped with the grainy texture. Once the sugar was dissolved, I put in my candy thermometer and let it go. DO NOT STIR AT ALL! I let it cook until 290 and it came out perfectly.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

I made this for a baby shower and it was a hit. It was messy to put together but what fun is cooking without a little mess? I also like how versatile it is where you can +/- ingredients to make it your own. I ended up using 24 ice cream sandwiches as well. I also agree that you need a little bit deeper dish. This is important if you need to transport it like I did. But all in all a great recipe!

Overnight Coffee Cake

This recipe is wonderful!! I didn't have any buttermilk so I used sour cream instead. Also I used pralines instead of plain walnuts.

Creamy Rice Pudding

This was an easy and wonderful recipe! It doubled nicely too! The only change I made was the addition of nutmeg and cinnamon when I added the eggs. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
