Keligun Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
At first I was thrown off by the ingredients but I decided to give it a try because I had all the ingredients on hand. I had no idea this chicken would be extremely tender and full of flavor. It was like my taste buds were dancing around my tongue. This was a really big hit with my family. We will definitely make this again.

Grilled Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage with Tomato Cream Sauce Over Linguine

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
Amazing recipe! My family ate it all in two days. Wouldn't change a thing. We did season with salt at the table which I feel is a must with this dish.

Sundried Tomato Chicken Sausage Ragu with Roasted Eggplant and Tomato

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
First off, the sausage is incredible! The food was very nice but the cooking time and portions of ingredients were a little off. Only use half an onion and double the amount of eggplant. Then, roast the vegetables in the oven for 35 minutes as another helpful reviewer suggested.

Easy Chocolate Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
I loved how the Giradelli chocolate tasted in this recipe. I cut the serving size to 4 ramekins and it made 6. To my liking, I like my creme brulee to not taste like flavored cream but to be more custard like with vanilla or in this case chocolate. Instead it tasted more like chocolate cream instead of a custard. In my eyes, the best creme brulee is the one that keeps the ingredients secret because you can't decifer the individual ingredients.

Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
This was very flavorful but I did have to add a can of tomato sauce and more seasonings. I love the mix of 2 meats. In my family recipe we only use shredded chicken.

Yellow Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Very nice flavor and perfect cook time. If I was to change next time I would remove an egg. I love the flavor of squash and don't want to overpower it with the extra egg. My family of 4 ate off of this 3 times.

Lowcountry Shrimp and Grits

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Best shrimp and grits I have ever had. I did follow the recipe but added rosemary, garlic, and processed cheese to mine. I am from the south as well but in Alabama we cheese up our grits. We ate twice off this recipe which would be satisfying to a family of 4, possibly a family of 5.

Well rounded flavors. I love the texture varieties and colors. Having 3 types of meat gives me a biased opinion thought! I will hopefully be making this again and again.

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
I followed the recipe pretty close and it was INCREDIBLE! For apples I used 2 large Granny Smith, 2 large Golden Delicious, and 2 Fuji. I substituted the crust and used the Pie Crust IV recipe on this site because I know that is an incredible crust. The final pie was absolutely perfect.
