Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I wasn't 100% sure how this would be, but for someone who's married to the world's finickiest eater (only meat & cheese, really), I had to try it. He devoured it, then said it was "pretty good." Which, coming from him, means it was a hit! He loves when I make this. I would like it a little better if it had more taste to it, it was a teeny bit bland for me. But since the hubby loves it, it's made at LEAST every 10 days. We love it!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
I made these on the night of a big dinner praying that this would be a good recipe. I know, not the brightest idea, but I don't like buying baked goods, my husband brags on my ability to make such things from scratch. This recipe did NOT disappoint! I loved them, my husband loved them (he is difficult to impress), and our guest loved them as well! I have no complaints, these are absolutely perfect. I am about to make some more, just had a craving for the yummy goodness! 5 stars all the way, I'm in love!

Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
I was just writing out a negative review while the sauce was cooling, there I found my mistake. Before I let it simmer and then cool, I tasted this sauce and found it to be revolting, the vinegar and soy sauce and salt was just "too much." BUT, after it has cooled a bit I've tried it and found it to be pretty tasty! Of course I also added 3-4 times the amount of brown sugar that it called for to counter the bitterness and saltiness. Overall, after adding it to rice it wasn't that bad. The vinegar was still too much for me, maybe I am just more sensitive to the smell. I do not believe in altering the recipe and then complaining that it was gross, so I may try it again exactly as directed before I write it off. I think I may make it again, thanks for sharing!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
My family loves this recipe. We use it any time we make pancakes. Originally I used this recipe because I ran out of Bisquik. Now my husband refuses to buy Bisquik in favor of the homemade pancakes (I agree with him). I've always used close to 1/4 cup of sugar instead of the listed amount. I also add vanilla and sprinkle some cinnamon-YUM! Best pancakes ever, sometimes we even gobble them down w/out syrup! When it doesn't NEED syrup you know it's good! No complaints, great recipe.
