On recommendations of other reviewers I cut sugar down to 1/2 cup brown and 1/2 cup white sugar. I also added a cup of zucchini (mainly because I had a 5 pound zucchini!). It was very moist and yummy. I will definitely continue to use the modified recipe.

The Best Lemon Bars

This recipe is so easy and tastes great! I had a lot of lemons and my goal was to use them, so I put the juice of 2 small and 2 large lemons and didn't change anything else and they turned out wonderful! Everyone loved it. Then I made the recipe again with the juice of 5 limes and it turned out great too. I really love how easy this recipe is.

Coconut (Haupia) and Chocolate Pie

I have made this recipe twice now and like it much better with milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. Also, I cut the sugar to 1/2 cup instead of 1 cup. This is a very good pie and easy to make.

Layered Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole

5 stars from every member of our family of 4!!! I used Rosarita canned enchilada sauce. Left out the green chiles for my picky 7 year old. Didn't have any coriander so just didn't use any. Served it with cornbread and it was excellent! This is a new favorite for my family.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

This is the best recipe ever! In fact it's my only reason for owning a crock pot. I use coarse kosher salt in place of the Hawaiian salt. This can also be cooked on HIGH for about 6 hours. I also do as some of the other reviewers and put the juices in the fridge until the fat solidifies so I can discard it (or give it to the dog). And maybe it's just me, but you must eat Kalua Pig with sticky white calrose rice, otherwise it would not be like Hawaii!

Pecan Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

I had to bake this for 50 minutes at 350 degrees before the center was set. It turned out like a big brown gooey cake and looked nothing like the picture. Taste was good, presentation needs help. The recipe does not give any tips or hints. I was mainly disappointed that these did not turn out like bars.

Macaroni and Cheese Bake

This recipe is easy and better than box mac & cheese. I use cream of mushroom soup insead and mix in quite a bit more grated cheese rather than slices of cheese. I skip the tomato and then bake it with herbed bread crumbs and dots of butter on top.

Zucchini Cookies

These were good. They are similar to an oatmeal cookie. I made these twice and I prefer them without the cloves. Also, I put chopped pecans instead of raisins because I don't like raisins in cookies.

Donna's Famous Cheesecake

This recipe is so easy to make and tastes great! I made it without the cracker crumbs on top and served it with a strawberry sauce. It was a hit!

Chantilly Cake Frosting

I'm from Hawaii and now living on the mainland. This recipe tastes just like it came from a bakery in Hawaii. (these mainland bakeries have never even heard of "chantilly"). I just frosted it over a chocolate cake from a box mix. So ONO!
