David's Yellow Cake

This is a very good cake. It's very moist. My 11 year old daughter made this for her sister's birthday and we all loved it. She followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect. I don't know how this could be the same recipe as the one people are saying came out dry and like cornbread. Some of the issues other people had, like the cake cooking too fast on the outside and not cooking in the middle, and the rubbery texture are obviously from oven temp needing to be adjusted for their particular oven, and over mixing. Just as a note, ours was baked in a convection oven for 30 minutes. We set the temp for 350 and our oven adjusted automatically to 325.
