Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2000
These are the best peanut butter cookies. They aren't crunchy and dry like most. I'll be making these a lot.

Mini Frittatas

Reviewed: May 17, 2000
This is a great recipe. Even my husband who doesn't care for eggs loved it. I forgot to buy ricotta, but used cottage cheese instead. I used jumbo size muffin tins. For a party I'm going to this weekend I'll use mini muffin tins. Can't wait to try them again.

Cool Veggie Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2001
I made this for my daugther's birthday party at the park last April. The moms loved it, the children of course didn't touch it. My husband loved it as well. After I topped the pizza with cheese and veggies I put it in the oven long enough to melt the cheese. Thanks for the recipe I'm going to make it for my Bunko party this week.

Cinnamon Hazelnut Biscotti

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2003
I've used severeal biscotti recipes, but this one is my favorite. I use almond and vanilla extract and extra cinnamon. I also use sliced almonds since I never have hazelnuts. I wet my hands when forming the dough and I have no problems. I cut the loaves while still warm with a serrated knife, then I bake them over 10 minutes on each side until they are slightly brown. Mmmm, I can smell them already.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2003
I took this to a dinner gathering and got high compliments. My husband gave me triple compliments. I love cinnamon, so I added some to the sauce and sprinkled cinnamon on the sliced apples before I put them in the pie plate. Yummy!

Gramma Brown's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
I've had this recipe for almost a year and we have all liked it every time I've made it. I have added 4-5 slices of Velveeta and have used red potatoes (with skin). I also add oregano, rosemary, basil and lots of pepper to this chowder. Very good. Oh,I don't thing I've used the bacon, I always forget to buy it.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
I love this recipe. I use all chedder, rarely have C-MJ cheese. My mom loves it and asked for the recipe. She omitted it the corn syrup and added teriyaki sauce instead and it came out great (not too sweet). We always eat this over white or brown rice.

Monster Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
These cookies are very very good. They come out great each time. I make them at least once a month. I use a cookie dough scoop to place them on the cookie sheet and I don't flatten them. They are NOT dry, crumbly or tastless. Just make sure you mix it well.

Sweet Corn Tomalito

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
Yes, thank you. It was excatly what I was looking for. My husband has always loved Chevy's dish so I thought I would surprise him with it. He loved it!! I didn't know what masa harina was. I did find Instant Corn Masa Mix and it worked. I cooked the Sweet Corn Tomalito in the microwave for the 7 and 4 and it worked very well. Thanks to all.

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2007
Very Good. I followed the recipe almost to a T. I used 1/2 C marg, 8oz baby food prunes, 8oz apple sauce. For the flour I used 1 C. flour, 1/2 C whole wheat. I used 3 eggs instead of 2. Also, I didn't flatten the cookies before baking.

Made as recipe stated. Loved it. A slight crunch on the outside, but nice and soft inside. The flavor was very chocolaty.

Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I made the recipe as written (with one exception I didn't have buttermilk, so I used/made sour milk). My elementary kids ate until they were beyond full. I got a bite while it was still hot and loved it too. They were moist and flavorful. Two of my kids put a little butter on them and skipped the syrup.

Wow!! Yummy. I made this for dinner guests. My family and their family loved it. I sprinkled chocolate chips on top at the very end. Wouldn't change anything else about it.

Granola-Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
Good flavor. A little sweet even though I cut the sugar down a 1/4 C. I think I will add 1/2 C more flour next time. After the first batch I turned the oven down to 350 and baked for only 10 minutes. The cookies were too thin and started to burn at 12 min at 375.

Yummy. Slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We ate them up in less than 24 hours. My kids couldn't get enough of them. I made them just as the recipe stated.

White Chocolate Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Made it with no changes to the ingredients. I put it on dough cycle and baked it in the oven. The consistency of the dough looked as if it needed more flour, but I baked it anyway. It came out great. I think baking it this way helped to distribute the white chocolate. We are going to use the rest of the loaf to make French Toast.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
I did as suggested and added a Tablespoon of sour cream to the cookie dough. It was easy to work with the dough. No flour needed. I rolled the dough into a log and sliced it evenly and got 32 slices. I patted them flat (as did my 9 yr old son) and placed the pre-divided filling onto the dough and formed it around the filling. It was slightly time consuming. My son did a great job and wasn't frustrated. The cookies came out great. We took them to a potluck and everyone loved them.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
I wasn't sure what me family would think of Tuna Casserole. I loved it as a kid. So, I tried it and they LOVED it. I only had one cream of mush and one cream of chicken. And I added a little milk for extra moisture. I will make this again.

Caramelized French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Fantastic. My family loved it. I made stuffed french toast using strawberry flavored cream cheese between to slices of toast then caramelized it. First time I had the pan too hot and the caramelizing didn't work so well. I let the pan cool down a bit and it worked so much better. Thank you for the recipe.
