I am a mom of 4 wonderful kiddos and wife to a dedicated Airforce service member. I am also a full time registered nurse in addition to playing mom and wife. We live in this beautiful state of Alaska and love to fill our home with new and tasty dishes! I also am a collector of cookbooks and cooking magazines. Mexican, Asian, and just about everything else! I am not a fish fan but will lower my standards to prepare this dish for my fish fanatic husband. What a good wife! hehe Homemade donuts made out of bisquits. Good old fashioned white gravy made in my mom's iron skillet, and having a Christmas breakfast instead of dinner! Anything where I venture outside of my comfort zone of recipes and cookbooks. If I add something new or come up with something on my own and make it spectacular, then it's a triumph! I once bought this cookbook that was only 3 ingriediants per dish. I made a sweet and sour pork dish that only called for orange juice and 2 other items I do not recall. Instead of sweet and sour, I got a orange juice soup with pork pieces floating around. Probably the worst thing I have ever tasted. That cookbook ended up in a garage sale.
