Not as good as my wife's, but it was good enough to impress her as a surprise. :D :D

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2014
Not sure if you can call this an honest review, 'cause I used chicken breast instead of actual lamb chops, but that could show the versatility of the recipe! :D :D :D I used homemade chicken broth and, after cooking the chicken in the pan a little, I put it in a closed baking pan and put it in the mini convection oven on 350 for about 30 min or so... until it was done. Then I followed the rest of the directions as shown. My wife *loved* it! I cooked it for our candlelight date night, and she was thrilled! :D :D

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
Some of the BEST pancakes I've ever had in my life!!! Follow the recipe *exactly* - YES, the batter will look WEIRD, but it's supposed to! The only trouble I had was spreading the batter on the pan. I recommend using the spatula to do that as soon as the batter hits the grittle.

Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
This was VERY tasty... once I got it right. 1st of all, I don't recommend using sunflower oil (the recipe calls for peanut oil instead anyways) - I think that was one of our problems. Secondly - make sure your chicken is FULLY THAWED!!!! :( :( :( I almost feel dumb for saying that, but ours was still just a LITTLE frozen in the middle when I started cooking (I thought it could slide - I was WRONG). I'm going to try this again later. :D

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
Just leave out the rum, and you got the BEST EGGNOG EVER! I usually use more cream than milk, though, just to make it that much more creamy! :D :D

Cheese Sauce for Broccoli and Cauliflower

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
This is SO simple and SO good... It's also VERY forgiving. Feel free to add a little extra milk if you want it more runny or a little extra cheese if you want it more think. AWESOME recipe!

Crepes

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
One of the easiest things that'll make your friends say, "Wow!... You can make ___?!?!?" I recommend a skillet-load of scrambled eggs, mushrooms, sausage/bacon, bell peppers, onions, and a bit of garlic to put into the crepe.

Easiest Egg Nog

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
This has got to be the best tasting thing you can make in 3.5 minutes. All I did was take a waterbottle and throw everything in and shake it up. It was a-mazing... and I even made it wrong (I put in 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk instead of the regular milk... good thing I have a sweet tooth, cause it's loaded! Don't try that at home unless you like a sugar high... I think I'll try it next time with 1 cup milk and one cup cream, or just half-and-half.)
