Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2012
Omitted raisins first time, skipped 1st step. Cookies were awesome, chewy 3 days later. We're high alt. (6800 ft), so added 1/4 c xtra flour.Didnt turn out thin and crispy like most of my cookies. Used raisins second time. Just as good - raisins plump and delicious.

Herbed Oat Pan Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
This was very good. I didn't have quick oats, just rolled, and it came out fine. I also used olive oil instead of butter to brush on the bread, and used minced fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. It was very good with an oil and vinegar dipping sauce. (1 part balsamic vinegar to 3 parts olive oil, salt and garlic powder to taste).

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes and Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
This was fantastic. I followed the directions, but cut the rosemary and thyme in half, and roasted the potatoes for half an hour, uncovered so they would be a little brown and crunchy, and then added the asparagus and cooked an additional 10 mins, uncovered.

Pumpkin Pie Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
These were fantastic! Since they were pumpkin pie bars though, I used the same spices called for on the can of Libby's for pumpkin pie. Every time I make them, no one can eat just one. Make sure you bake it long enough that the bottom crust comes out crunchy. I made it once where the bottom crust was soggy and it was still good, but no where near as good as the crunchy bottom crust.
