Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Artichoke Chicken

My husband and I loved this. I would probably give it 5 stars if my kids had loved it as much. They liked it, and it was extremely easy to make which is a huge bonus for me on weeknights. I did alter the recipe a little by adding some swiss cheese to the mixture to make it like our favorite artichoke dip. I will definately make it again

French Onion Dip From Scratch

I cooked my onions on a lower heat, and longer. After we let it sit, I found it just a little too mayo tasting so added some sour cream and a dash of worcestershire per another rater. It was very good and I will make it again.

French Dip Sandwiches

Perfect! My husband and I loved this. I cooked mine on high, and it was done in just under 5 hours. I didnt have thyme, so left it out. Next time I will make sure to add that. Wouldnt change a thing, and I didnt find it too salty.

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Not to be mean, but I am not sure why this has so many high ratings. Really just baked chicken, nothing special. I was not impressed. It wasnt bad, but I would prefer to do something different.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

This turned out great for me. My first time ever cooking a lemon meringue pie. I had no problem with runny filling, I was told ahead of time not to over cook the filling. My own personal preference is for a more lemony pie, so I will tweak it a bit next time but this turned out just great.

Roquefort Pear Salad

Huge hit. Everyone absolutely loved this. I used red onions because I prefer them, but other than that did not change a thing. I will definately make this again. The avocado is great in this.

Creamed Spinach I

I used this recipe because it had the texture I wanted, and I was hoping the evaporated milk would be creamy. I really like the method of using the blender, but was disappointed with the flavor as written. I ended up adding about 4 ozs of cream cheese, salt and pepper, and am happy with the final results.

Yakisoba Chicken

Very good. Probably not traditional, with the chili paste in it, but that was ok with us. Definately a 5 star from my husband. I liked it and will make it again since all 4 in my family liked a lot. Tiny bit on the dry side. I used only 1 Tblsp of the paste after reading the reviews and am glad I did. I also added a little sesame seed on top of the finished dish. Will make again.

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade

I might try this again, and allow for longer marinading time. I had my steak in for about 1 and half hours prior to cooking. It had a nice flavor, was just very mild to me and I was hoping for a stronger flavor and also hoping that with the syrup this would somehow glaze my steak more. Definately not bad though.

Italian Pasta Salad II

Baked Potato Soup

Very good. Very creamy and satisfying. I did not find the spices overwhelming. For the reviewer who said their potatoes took forever to soften, you need to bake them first. I topped mine with cheese, bacon, and chopped green onion. My kids liked it too.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

When you look at the list of ingredients in this recipe it is deceptive, who would imagine that such a short list of things would create such a wonderful flavor! Really loved this. I used two packages of italian dressing, and did half the jar of peppers about half way thru and the other half at the end, with all the juice. Used better quality rolls and everyone loved it!
