Hi, my name is Katie and I am from Grass Valley, California. I am an artist, I love to read, play video games, and cook. I have been cooking for about a couple years now and feel I have finally gotten into the realm of gourmet. I love delicious, full bodied and flavored food I am especially crazy and pick about sauces, no meal should be without a sauce or marinade, lol. In my humble opinion that is. I am pretty laid back and down to earth unless provoked or ignored. ;-)
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking pizza, burgers, American cuisine, Italian, Japanese, and most anything that I think will taste good together. I dabble in desserts (baking) as well but am still in the learning process. I am experimental and love to try new things.

1) Cream Cheese/Ricotta Blintzes for Christmas Day morning.

3) July Smoked Pork Ribs
4) November Navy Bean Soup, served the night before Thanksgiving while we make pies and dressing.
5) Pecan Pie for dessert on Thanksgiving
