High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
I was skeptical of this recipe and how it would actually cook but it was perfect! I added smoked paprika as the seasoning. No complaints form my family when I served this! I will be making roasts this way from now on.

Turkey Ragu with Fontina and Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
Delicious! I took what other people suggested and added a 29oz can of crushed tomatoes and a 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes. I combined all of the ingredients together and cooked in the oven for 20 minutes. Even halving this recipe, it mad an entire 8x8 pan. My husband suggested adding tomato paste to make it thicker and some red pepper flakes to give it some kick.

We used 2 bags of Vicks popcorn and 1 big bag of marshmallows. We also added in cut up Hot Tamales candy and added to the mix. Out of this world!

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
I marinated the steak overnight in half the sauce. I sauteed broccoli and carrots in garlic infused olive oil and then added the marinated steak. I let all of that cook together until the steak was cooked through. Served over a bed of rice. The only thing I would do differently next time is add more seasoning.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
This was an awesome dish! I did not add the beer but added more water to make sure the brisket was mostly covered to ensure it didn't dry out. Since I picked out small baby red potatoes, I did not quarter them but I recommend doing so because even cooking all day, they came out harder than we liked. I cooked the brisket, potatoes and carrots on low all day. I did add in the cabbage an hour before it was time to eat and I would probably add it in earlier.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
My family loved this dish! I used twice the amount of hash browns and while it did not turn out to be an egg type dish, it was still wonderful.

Kielbasa with Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
I made this dish using 1 can of plain petite diced tomatoes and 1 can of petite diced tomatoes flavored with garlic and olive oil. My family does not like the veges listed (or any veges for that matter). My whole family LOVED this dish and we will definitely make this again.

Easy Cheese and Ham Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
I followed some of the suggestions from previous reviews such as reducing the amount of cream used by half and using much more cheese than the recipe called for. This is a good way to use up leftover ham from the holidays. Definitely making this again!
