Neighbors brought together

My neighbor, Destiny, and I have been as close as could be for about five years now. We have been through nasty fights but they only brought us closer together. Baking brought us to what we are right now. We have made brownies, three types of cupcakes, many things of pudding, LOTS of frosting, a cake and memories that will last forever. Our cupcakes and brownies looked great. The frosting was yummy and just recently we made a cake. We used a lemon cake mix and dyed it orange (inside joke). She gently poured it into two circular pans and we went into the cabinet to find a lemon pudding mix. Once the cakes were done and cooled, we took out the pudding and put the layers together. On top of that we put cream cheese frosting. Then we took out an edible gel pen and wrote BASKETBALL ROX on the top because we both are on the same basketball team. Its not the prettiest cake but we both had the time of our life. We both had fun without watching tv or videogames and we will do it again.

It's so nice for me to see younger girls take an interest in cooking because I never did and have had to learn later in life. Great blog and thanks for sharing Piggyluver.

Reminds me of a good friend I had when I was a kid. We "discovered" baking/cooking and decided to make fudge. We made peanut butter fudge, but it never set, so we ate it with a spoon! We had so much fun together. Glad to hear you and your friend had so much fun!

About Me
I love baking & cooking. I dont eat pigs. (I love them!) I love cooking chicken and i am great with chicken soup. I LOVE TACOS! I enjoy the freedom of the kitchen. I know my way around but I am really really picky. I dont try new things but now I guess this is my time to shine! I love baking but I like cooking best because it is easier to experiment with. The best part is the tragedies because its fun to see what you can create. Sometimes its a mess. Some of my favorite things also are basketball, softball, soccer, the color black and circles! I dont try new things and recently started cooking things from other countris.
My favorite things to cook
Favorites I would say chicken, brownies and cakes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas my family makes a special fruitcup
My cooking triumphs
I once made a great chicken soup. I forgot the recipe :(
My cooking tragedies
To many to count :P The worst one i can remember is adding to much flour to some muffins. I threw one at my friend thinking she would catch it but it hit her in the eye. I didnt think it was hard enough to hurt her and to prove it I threw one at the wooden floor. It made a dent.
