About this Cook
a hunter and fisherman that has learned how to fix meals to feed family and self. extensive trial and error can only improve you doing anything if you stick to it .I might wing-it when I cook but never deviate from the recipes when I bake with my daughters.
My favorite things to cook
any wild game, any kind of sausages and of course hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill .
My favorite family cooking traditions
always include apple cider vinegar in your Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce because it gives it that extra bite .
My cooking triumphs
Deer backstraps in the slow cooker but use chicken broth instead of beef broth and cook for 18 hours on low .
My cooking tragedies
hash browns on high in a stainless steel pan...just doesn't work !! even with a quarter inch of cooking oil .

Sheboygan Grilled Brats
Excellent ( Ausgezeichnet in German )...everything works but nix the hot dog buns and get French baguettes instead...toast 'em and butter 'em and then add the brats...you'll be speaking in German they're so good !!!

Beer Batter Fish Fillets
leave out the dill...use Panko batter for shrimp...and use a tad of black pepper and a quarter teaspoon of paprika and you'll have a far-better fish fry...and use Crisco for your frying oil !!!
