I added this item to my Christmas goodies this year. I had to make two batches as my husband keep eating them. He test everything for me and went overboard on these. This one is a keeper.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2001
I was a little afraid to try this one as I have been making peanut brittle for Christmas for the pasted 20 years on top of the stove which takes around a hour or so and after making around 20 batches over 3 days I only make it at Christmas. I tried one batch and couldn't belive how fast and easy it was. It turned out great, I'll never make it the old way again. I did double the recipe and increased my time by 4 mins then after adding the butter and villina I cooked for 3 mins and keep testing in cold water untill had ball or brittle stage so don't be afraid to increae the recipe it is so easy to make. I know everyone will think I stood over the stove all those hours and I just love it!!!! Happy Holidays have fun.....
