Rainbow Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2001
This is one of my all-time favorite and most requested recipes. I even make it easier by just spraying the pans with non-stick cooking spray instead of parchment paper and the cookies easily come out. Every time I make these people cannot believe they were not bought in a bakery they look so beautiful and professional. And how they taste!! Delicious and super moist little cakes. Outrageous!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2002
This recipe was just fantastic! I didn't have soy sauce so I used Yoshida's marinade instead and the results were just awesome. A slightly sweet, teriyaki flavored marinade. Even my 3 year old ate the chicken. My husband who is the pickiest human alive absolutely loved it. Thanks for a great summer recipe!

Tiny Tarts

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2003
These cookies are superb!! I lost my recipe for these so I decided to try Allrecipes version; well these are much better. I was worried about the crust because the batter was very soft; I put in into the frig to chill for awhile before I pressed it into the miny muffin tins. The finished crust is fantastic; delicate, flaky, and it did not stick to the pan at all. The filling is perfect. Thank you so much for this wonderful cookie recipe. It's alot of work but worth it for Christmas cookies.

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2004
Thank you soooooo much for posting this recipe! I would have given it 10 stars if I could. It is so easy; my 5 year old son practically made the whole thing. And the taste!!! Heavenly. It is the perfect combination of delicate angel food and sweet pineapple. A great low fat dessert and perfect for my weight watchers diet. I used lite Cool Whip so a serving size only has 1 gram of fat!! Delicious!!!!!!!!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2004
Fantastic! An absolutely delicious way to grill shrimp. We served these as appetizers and our guests raved about them. The combination of spices in the marinade is perfect; not overwhelming...and the shrimp stay succulent and moist; not dried out. I followed the recipe exactly even though I was afraid of the cayenne peper; but just as the original poster said; it is not too spicy. Great summer recipe....my super picky husband loved it and wants it for dinner at least once a week!!

Classic Tiramisu

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2004
This recipe is AS GOOD as any tiramisu I have ever tasted in a restaurant and I am a huge fan of tiramisu. I have made this at least six times and I always get rave reviews. It is not too soggy, not to dry..........just the perfect combination of light, fluffy mascarpone whipped cream. My husband requests this every year for his birthday and I am the now offical tiramisu maker for our family gatherings now! I would suggest you make this the day before and let it sit overnight in the frig. It will not become too soggy and the flavors will have a chance to meld together. Yummmmm!!!!

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2004
This is fantastic!!!!!! I followed other reviewers suggestions and used an 8 oz. block of cream cheese and whipped it with my electric mixer until smooth to prevent lumps. The result is just superb! Not too sweet; just creamy and delicious. I recently went to a party and the hostess served berries and fresh whipped cream that started to get warm and watery after a while; this recipe is much, much better. It sticks to the fruit; not runny at all. I couldn't stop eating it. I made a platter of fresh strawberries and blackberries. Next time I may try a low fat cream cheese to save a few calories. Thank you so much for this great recipe!!

Awesome Korean Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2004
Delicious recipe!!! I used a flank steak and marinated overnight. I love the flavor. My husband and I love Korean Bulgogi steak and this really tastes like an authentic Korean recipe. Even my 5 year old son said "this is awesome Mom." Thank you very much for sharing; I will be making it again this week.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2004
These were really great! I'm doing the weight watchers diet and trying to eliminate high fat ground beef so I decided to try this recipe; I was not disappointed. Instead of salt I added a teaspoon of Goya Sazon seasoning. Even my 5 year old loved these. Thanks for a great recipe!

Onion Soup Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2004
I was kind of disappointed with this recipe. The chops were kind of dry and the rice was kind of soupy; I followed the recipe exactly too. I am still searching for a moist pork chop recipe.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2004
These are FANASTIC! I am always searching for a great cookie recipe and I have definitely found it here. I have to disagree with other reviewers that there was too much or too little jam....it was the perfect amount. The only change I made was to add half a teaspoon of cinnamon to the crust and I spinkled some almonds on top (I thought that drizzling chocolate would make these too sweet). These cookies are buttery and delicous and just YUMMY! Thank you Holly!!

Gary's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2004
These are FANTASTIC! I did take the advice of other reviewers and reduced the butter. I used one stick of butter to saute the garlic, then I added the cream cheese to the melted butter/garlic until it was melted and smooth. I added this entire mixture to Stovetop chicken flavored stuffing and added two cans of Geisha snow crab meat. It does make alot of stuffing but it freezes well so you can save some for another batch of stuffed mushrooms. These taste unbelievalbe. Whether I make 25 or 75 of these for a party...every last one is eaten. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!!

German Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2004
My husband LOVED these and I loved the taste too which is why I gave them 5 stars........but I would only give 2 stars for appearance. I was expecting a cute little thumbprint cookie filled with the coconut/pecan mixture. Instead, the cookie spread out and flattened completely; I even refrigerated the dough prior to baking. Delicious to eat but not so appealing to look at.

Eggplant -- Easy, Good and Tasty

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2004
My husband and I love this recipe. I like the fact that you don't have to fry the eggplant. My only suggestion is to flip the slices over half way thru baking so they are golden brown on both sides.

Linzer Tarts

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2004
Excellent recipe for authentic tasting linzer tarts. These were even better the next day when the jam softened the cookie a little bit. I forgot to add the cinnamon by mistake and they still tasted incredible. They are labor intensive but I had fun rolling the dough and cutting out the shapes. You just have to gingerly handle everything. The end product is worth the effort. Linzer cookies cost $1.50 each in the bakery! This recipe makes about 30 cookies and they taste BETTER than the bakery. My mother could not believe that I made them, she said they looked so professional. I can't wait to make them in heart shapes for Valentine's Day. Thank you for a true 5 star recipe!!! NOTE: I have made these fantastic cookies numerous times and the most important piece of advice I can give is after to roll your dough out onto a pieice of wax paper and place the wax paper with the impressions in the freezer for 5 minutes. THEN, remove the rounded cut out shapes. If you do it when the dough is cold, your cookies will not break. Also, I just use Smuckers squeezable raspberry preserves, you do not have to warm the preserves. Anytime you have trouble with this dough just chill it.

Ga Ga Clusters

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2004
I thought these were fantastic! I made these with milk chocolate though, not semi sweet and I think that made a big difference. I'm so glad I went with this recipe instead of making a fudge recipe from this site. These are like a peanut cluster fudge. I read one of the other reviewers comments that it did not "set" for her; but I had no such problem. After chilling for two hours they were delicious!! Creamy, Yummy! I did not use marshmallows, I just added a 16oz can of Walgreens lightly salted peanuts; I thought the sweet/salty combo would be good and it is! Just the perfect taste. Thanks for a great recipe...super easy and super delicious. It's killing me not to eat them all and save some for Christmas cookie trays!!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2005
I absolutely LOVED this and so did my picky husband who never raves about anything. I took the suggestions of another reviewer and used fat free half and half instead of heavy cream to cut down on the high fat content. The taste was still fantastic. Next day leftovers were even better. I highly recommend this recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
I was really disappointed with this recipe; it is definitely not a 5 star recipe in my opinion. It basically tasted like canned vegetables flavored with soupy taco seasoning.

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
This was just ok. It doesn't take anything like a honey bun. It tastes like yellow cake mix with cinnamon in it. Would not make again.
