Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
This was out first time trying Quinoa. We really, really liked it. This recipe is a very good one, and we will be eating this more often, as it is a low glycemic index food which is good for diabetics. Thanks for this terrific recipe.

Made the tomatoe part of this with fire roasted diced tomatoes and used talapia fish. My son LOVED it. I didn't serve it over rice, and it was still fabulous. Thanks for a quick recipe.

These were perfect for a family party. They are however very rich, and the next time I make them, and there will be many more times, I will cut them in little bites. Thanks for a GREAT recipe.

Diet Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
I absolutely LOVE this soup. I do add some garlic, and I use the stewed tomatoes with basil in them, and I ony use a 1/2 head of cabbage. Those are the only changes I do. LOVE IT.

Stewed Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
This was sooooooooooooo good, that I was worried that it would be gone before I got it to the table. ( I kept tasting it) I only had a 1/2 a head of cabbage, so I basically 1/2 the recipe except for the stewed tomatoes, and let it simmer on low for about 1 hr. This was perfect! Thanks for the recipe.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
The is a 5 star. I guess I didn't work quickly enough with the frosting as it started to set up on me. However, I think I will not add the whole 4 cups of confectioners sugar unless I really need it. It was a bit thick. Other than that, easy to make and DELICIOUS. Thanks for the recipe

Lemon Thyme Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
This was great, however, I did make a few changes. I used chicken tenders (had on hand) browned chicken in pan without flour. Removed from pan, and made the sauce, put tenders back in pan to finish cooking. My family raved about it. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Cranberry Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
My family wasn't crazy about his dish. However, I liked it along with my daughter in law. My family thought the french dressing and soup mix was too overwhelming so I think next time I make it, I will use 2 cans of whole cranberry sauce with the 1 cup of french dressing and 1 envelope of soup mix.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
I doubled this recipe thinking I would have leftovers. NOT!!!!! My family gobbled up 20 chicken tenders. These are perfect. I also made up the marinade and put some flour in it to thicken to drizzle over the cooked chicken. FABULOUS recipe.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
This was very easy. I did the dough in the bread machine, but then let it rise while the oven was preheating, and I baked it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 32 min. Great loaf of bread.

Blueberry Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This was a great salad to our Sunday dinner. Even though I used sugar free Jello, you couldn't tell the difference. After dinner, my kids were telling me to make it again, but with a crushed pretzel crust on the bottom. FABULOUS.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
These were absolutely to die for. I should have doubled the potatoes, as my family couldn't get enough of them. I did add one more ingredient to them, I sprinkled generously with onion powder. I will definately be making these more often. Thanks for a great recipe
