Pineapple Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
I just made this for supper. It is hard to find recipes that use ham. This is the best one that I have tried. I didn't have green onions, so I used dried minced onion and chives. I used 2 eggs and honey instead of sugar and didn't add salt.

Apple Pizza Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
I had to add some water to crust because it was too crumbly. I used homemade pie filling. I used less flour like other people. I used shredded cheddar/mozza. I only cooked for 20 mins., but it was overcooked. Next time I will decrease oven temperature.

Apple Pie Filling II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
I made this to use for apple pie pizza. I didn't have lemon juice. I used cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. I also used splenda instead of sugar, so that might have been why there was no juice to it. So I added a little water. I had to cook it longer to thicken it. It was still really good.

Dutch Apple Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I made this last night, I didn't have shortening, so I used margarine, used 1/4 c. brown sugar and the rest splenda instead of sugar and almond flavoring because I had no vanilla. I also used splenda on the top with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. It was really good but the next time I will add applesauce and apple to the batter.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I did not want to bother to make meatballs, so I cooked the hamburg in a pot. I added onions, red, green and yellow peppers, mini carrots, mushrooms and fresh pineapple, garlic and the sauce ingredients. Cooked on top of the stove until vegetables were tender. Taste just like s&s meatballs without the fuss.

Mashed Potato Quesadilla

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
These were pretty good. I didn't feel like making mashed pototoes, so I used packaged ones. I didn't have green onion or sour cream. I used onion and ranch dressing. Will make again using real potatoes and sour cream. I think they will be alot better that way. I made these again using real mashed potatoes, fresh chives and cheddar and mozza cheese. They were alot better this way.
