Strawberry-Banana-Peanut Butter Smoothie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
This smoothie was really not good at all. I only gave it a 2 because my daughter finished hers and said it was edible. The peanut butter after taste was strong and the strawberry flavor was masked. The only thing that I liked about the smoothie was the texture.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
The sauce was outstanding and really made this a 5. I baked the fish on 450 for 15 minutes instead of frying. Very yummy.

Spinach-Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
This was great, my family really enjoyed it. I did add more spices than required and included cheddar cheese inside the spinach mix, but otherwise I followed the receipe as written. I had extra spinach filling left over and that was yummy along side the chicken. Thanks

Lucie's Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Yummy, was great, and my family didn't even realize how healthy it was. I omitted the carrots (as I don't believe they belong in chili). I also added more beans (an extra can of kidney and two cans of pinto). I didn't have bulgar wheat so I left that out. I used tomato sauce instead of tomato juice. This was not hot at all, which was a plus since my toddler had to have some. Very good receipe, thanks you.

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I love these and I love how they are baked instead of fried. The mix alone is great (I ate half of it while rolling them). I used ground turkey and put it in my food processor to mince. Otherwise I followed the receipe exact. The first time I added way too much filling and they all busted open while in the oven.

Garlic Asparagus with Lime

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Amazing, great receipe. I loved the lime addition. My garlic burned though so next time I will wait a little before adding it.

Tomatillo Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Great soup, I gave 4 stars because I had to add cumin, black beans to give it real flavor. It's a good base though. I used all the stock, but then remove a cup of it before pureeing the veggies and then added some back to the pot to improve the consistency. I didn't puree all the veggies (only about 75% of them). I liked the texture this way. Also needs a lot more tomatillos.

Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
This was my first attempt at hollandaise sauce. The receipe was easy and tasted great. I used a hand mixer to beat the sauce over a water bath intead of killing my hand using a whisk. Sauce was a little bland as is so I took the advice of other posters and added additional lemon juice and cayenne pepper. My husband loved it and asked me to make it again. Thank you for the great receipe.
