Great bread. My family ate the whole thing in one sitting. I don't have a bread machine, so here's how I made it with my stand mixer. Add the cornmeal, 1 cup of flour, salt, and a packet of yeast to the mixer bowl and mix. Heat up the water, molasses, and vegetable oil to 130 F (hot, but you can still put your finger in it without burning yourself). Then add the liquid mixture to the mixing bowl and mix. Gradually add the rest of the flour (you may not need all of it) until the dough balls up on the hook and is slightly sticky. Then knead by hand for 5 minutes on a floured surface and leave to rise for an hour or so in a covered bowl. After, knead the dough, shape into a loaf (or put it in a greased loaf pan) and leave to rise another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 F. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the internal temp of the loaf is 200 F. Enjoy!
