Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
This was my first attempt to make an Indian dish. My husband said it was great! I used boneless, skinless chicken breast and fat free half and half. Served with basmati rice and Indian Naan II from this site. Leftovers where yummy!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
My husband asked what the special occasion was! I was just looking for something different for chicken breasts. I used 3 chicken breasts, but didn't scale down the sauce. The outside of the chicken has a nice brown color and was tender.

Great! Don't be fooled...this is a very rich dessert. It's great that it can be prepared ahead and looks amazing. When my guests looked the refrigerator, they asked if we could have dessert first!

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I scaled the recipe in half, since full recipe makes quite of bit of marinade. I scaled back the oil and used 1/4 cup vegetable and 1/4 cup olive. I marinated for about 4 hours. Nice to not run out to the grocery store, since I had all ingredients on hand.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I absolutely love this recipe! Cookies come out perfect every time. It does make a lot, but that's perfect for our chocolate-chip-cookie-loving household! I use the medium scoop from Pampered Chef for evenly sized cookies.

Chicken 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
Was looking for a quick and easy dinner for tonight...and this was it. The only minor changes I made was that I added some garlic and onion powder and just a sprinkle of real bacon pieces. My 5 year old didn't enjoy the mixed vegetables, but she had to eat them anyway.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
Had a craving for cookies just like these. As per other reviews, they could've had more peanut butter flavor. I didn't measure the peanut butter, but I know I added more than what the recipe called for. I also used some whole wheat flour in place of the all purpose flour. I had to bake for about 13 - 15 minutes. Came out soft and chewy...yum!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
My first attempt at homemade cinnamon rolls...EXCELLENT! I did not use a bread machine. I used 1 packet yeast. I warmed the milk and butter in the microwave then combined it with the dry ingredients. Mixed with a hand mixer just until combined, then kneaded for about 5 minutes on a floured surface. Heated oven to 200 degrees, turned off and let rise for 1 hour, then followed recipe. After I took them out of the oven, I flipped them onto a piece of parchment paper. Looking forward to making them again!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I was in the mood for the taste of chicken noodle soup, but not soup. This hit the spot! I used rigatoni pasta, since I didn't have egg noodles in my pantry. My 21 month old and 5 1/2 year old enjoyed it. I think the leftovers tasted better!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

I substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, omitted oil and used unsweetened applesauce and used light sour cream because I didn't have the yogurt. My almost 6 year old girl ate it up. Came out moist and delicious!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
Used 5 lb. pork butt. Cooked on high for 3 hours, then low 6 hours. The meat shredded so easily. I left most of the liquid in the crock pot, then added Sweet Baby Rays and cooked on high for another 45 minutes. Husband thought it looked too watery, but after eating said it was really good. Served with "Baked French Fries I".
