Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
YUMMMM!!! I was a bit hesitant because of the thick consistency of the batter. I used a small pkg of coconut instant pudding (it was all I had) and a pkg of single serve jello chocolate instant pudding. The cake was still slightly warm when I ate...I mean devoured a piece, so the chips were melted and gooey.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Good flavor and easy to prepare. I covered while baking and broiled for a few minutes at the end. My pork chops were overcooked and dry, but the family did eat 'em up.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
I like many others will no longer buy prepackaged taco seasoning mix. This was excellent!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Wow! So easy to prepare and the kids loved it! They only change I made was that I used a can of stewed tomatoes, which I chopped, since that was all I had.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
I'm giving 5 stars because I bet they would've been delicious if my husband didn't burn them all...he wasn't paying attention. So into the garbage they went. :( I was so looking forward to consuming them. I will try them again.

This was so easy to prepare...loved that! I've been trying to find a recipe with the "right" consistency for my family and this is it! My girls ate it up, so my search is over.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
I substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, omitted oil and used unsweetened applesauce and used light sour cream because I didn't have the yogurt. My almost 6 year old girl ate it up. Came out moist and delicious!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I was in the mood for the taste of chicken noodle soup, but not soup. This hit the spot! I used rigatoni pasta, since I didn't have egg noodles in my pantry. My 21 month old and 5 1/2 year old enjoyed it. I think the leftovers tasted better!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
My first attempt at homemade cinnamon rolls...EXCELLENT! I did not use a bread machine. I used 1 packet yeast. I warmed the milk and butter in the microwave then combined it with the dry ingredients. Mixed with a hand mixer just until combined, then kneaded for about 5 minutes on a floured surface. Heated oven to 200 degrees, turned off and let rise for 1 hour, then followed recipe. After I took them out of the oven, I flipped them onto a piece of parchment paper. Looking forward to making them again!

Should have doubled the sauce. I used cashews instead of peanuts...this dish had great flavor.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
Had a craving for cookies just like these. As per other reviews, they could've had more peanut butter flavor. I didn't measure the peanut butter, but I know I added more than what the recipe called for. I also used some whole wheat flour in place of the all purpose flour. I had to bake for about 13 - 15 minutes. Came out soft and chewy...yum!

Used fresh mushrooms, leftover chicken, omitted pimento since I didn't have any and served over white rice cooked in chicken broth for some added flavor. Yum!

Chicken 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
Was looking for a quick and easy dinner for tonight...and this was it. The only minor changes I made was that I added some garlic and onion powder and just a sprinkle of real bacon pieces. My 5 year old didn't enjoy the mixed vegetables, but she had to eat them anyway.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I scaled the recipe in half, since full recipe makes quite of bit of marinade. I scaled back the oil and used 1/4 cup vegetable and 1/4 cup olive. I marinated for about 4 hours. Nice to not run out to the grocery store, since I had all ingredients on hand.
