Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
This was good, especially the sauce. I made mine with ground turkey which seemed to make it very tender and moist. I wish I would have made more sauce for my egg noodles, the recipe doesn't make a lot of sauce.

Tomato Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
This could have been great but there was a lot of liquid in the dish, and it needed much more cheese and bread crumbs. Nevertheless, it looks beautiful on the table!

Love it! Easy to prepare and very tasty. Although the bread crumbs on the bottom were a little soggy.

Not what I was expecting...too much curry, and not enough oil for the saute of onions...

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2013
This was ok. I had a lot of liquid at the bottom of my pan, and it wasn't piping hot after 30 minutes. It was sort of watery.

OMG! This is the BEST thing I've ever tasted in MY LIFE. I added a little freshly grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and it was divine. I can't wait to make it again!

Hurricane I

Can I rate this recipe 6 stars??? It was incredible and the crowd went wild for it! It's delicious and refreshing. It doesn't get you very intoxicated, but I imagine if I added more liquor it would. Highly recommend!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
I didn't enjoy this at all, the Lipton mix gave it a different taste, and perhaps due to the breadcrumbs, it had a funny texture. Will not make again.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
OH. MY. GOODNESS. This was sooooo great! I made this with lamb medallions and we were trying to get all of the meat off of the bone! I added a little garlic powder to the seasonings, and but a pat of butter on the medallions while searing. I used 12 year aged balsalmic which I think made the reduction even better. I served it with rice pilaf and pine nuts and asparagus. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the recipie!!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
This recipie was outstanding! I did increase all of the seasonings especially the paprika and salt. I also dipped the fish (I used catfish) in some panko before frying in my deep cast iron skillet. I only used 1.5 quarts of oil and fried one piece at a time to avoid overcrowding. It makes A LOT of batter, and there will be some left over. Thanks so much!
