I used the Absolutely Fabulous Greek salad dressing on this (amazing stuff). I also added celery, carrot, radish, and feta. So, so yummy. Very healthy dinner. Thanks

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
These are amazing and easy. They taste fresh up to 4 days old. At day 5 they were dried out. I'm making this recipe every year from now on!! Perfect recipe as written. No need to change it. (Besides real butter, I like real butter! :)

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
10 stars!! These are WONDERFUL! The recipe is perfect the way it's written I'm sure. The only change I HAD to make was that I ran out of white sugar at 1.8 cups, so I had to use brown sugar for the remainer to make 3c total. I had Exactly enough to make the 3c between the two sugars and no more-haha I took that as a "sign" that they'd be great- They were amazing- best brownies I've ever had. And my name is Brooke so I just had to make them for that reason too. lol OH, I also made 12 mini bite size brownies with my Wilton mini muffin pan and the remainder was in an 8x11 so they'd be a little thicker then-Great size and bite size is always fun. (The small ones hardened over night, so next time I'll under-bake a bit with my mini muffin pan)

Garden Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
I have a great tip if you have picky eaters- Such a great, HEALTHY recipe (I had 100% whole wheat spiral noodles on hand). I made the salad as described, but I didn't have any Italian dressing- so I made my own concoction- and made some for my kids who didn't like mine. "Mature tastebuds" dressing: 1/2 c. olive oil 1/8 c. red wine vinegar 1/8 c. garlic rice vinegar 2 TBS olive oil mayo (okay, heaping TBS :) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. onion powder sprinkle of Italian seasoning (optional, I could have done without this part) 1 tsp+ of garlic powder Shake it, stir it, dish up your bowl and add 2-3 large spoon full of your dressing and mix around. Kid Friendly dressing: 1/4 c. olive oil mayo 1 TBS mustard 1 TBS pickle juice Or whatever your picky eaters like. My kids loved this and it has so many cancer fighters/preventers in it.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This is dangerously good. Make sure you have people to share it with so you don't eat it all yourself- It's too tempting just sitting around. Perfect as written.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Very good recipe! My husband doesn't typically like meatloaf and he really liked it! I did too. Will make again. Very small changes: I put the sauce on top and a tiny bit less b.sugar. (I bake it on a steak broiling pan so the juice falls below.) Thanks!

Raspberry Balsamic Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
10 Stars! I am obsessed with this salad dressing on a WONDERFUL salad that I use it on- ((I add frozen raspberries to the dressing as well) Romaine lettuce, fresh spinach, thin apple slices, blue cheese, crutons and candied pecans or walnuts. I could (and do) eat this every day. It's AMAZING with this dressing!! The blend of all the flavors is like a song in my mouth. Thanks for helping me eat healthier- I'm no longer burnt out on salad!

The Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
I really like this. Good flavor. I may have added too many potatoes (I used 6 plain bakers potatoes because that's what I had) so I added more "sauce" for flavor. Plus real pickles and celery in addition because that's just classic to me. Great recipe. Thanks

Princess Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
These have a really nice lemon flavor! They remind me of the old Girl Scout cookies (not sure if GS still sell that kind?) as far as flavor goes with a hint of shortbread cookie flavor. The texture is mix between a muffin and cornbread- It's good though. I like soft cookies. I wasn't sure how they'd be when people said "spongy," that sounded a little gross to me, but they're not funky. I can tell I will be craving these again soon. Thanks!
