Valentine's Day Dessert
Oh my yum! We loved this dessert last night as the delicious ending to our Valentine's day dinner. Thank you Cher for this super simple recipe! Thank you natalieann for your review and mentioning the Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix...I just happened to have some in the cupboard and it was so much cheaper than the tube of cookie dough. I didn't have any cherry pie filling, but did have those frozen triple berries from Costco, so I made pie filling from this recipe: Mix together in a sauce pan 1/3 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 Tbsp Corn Starch, 1 Tbsp strawberry jello powder, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, 1 cup frozen berries. Cook on medium until thickened (let it boil for a minute while stirring constantly). Remove from heat. Add 1 1/4 cups frozen berries to this hot mixture and stir well to combine. This will cool the hot mixture and defrost the frozen berries. Let this pie filling meld on your counter for 10-15 minutes then stir once more and spread on your dessert. This made the perfect amount. Enjoy!!

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix
We loved this recipe! I doubled it. Used 2 chocolate cake mixes, added 2/3 cup water as suggested (since it was doubled) and pressed it into a greased 10x15 inch pan and a greased 9x9 pan. Fit perfectly! Topped it with Christmas m&ms and it was perfect for my cookie plates this year. Soft and chewy! Thanks!

Breakfast Pies
Yum! We loved these! I did have some trouble with these sticking to the pan even tho I sprayed the muffin pan - next time I'll try to do better to not let the egg run over the sides of the biscuit. I used chopped canadian bacon, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, and no peppers (this time - will definitely try it next time). I used those super cheap biscuits from Walmart in the little white tubes and they were still wonderful. Thanks for a super easy, kid friendly recipe! Loved it!
