Recently, I have had the urge to become more domestic. Starting this blog was the result of one of those urges. Along with cooking, I would like to start growing my own herbs for cooking. I would need to start small because I am currently in an apartment and have very little space. Next… MORE

Apple Cider Pancakes
Some of the best pancakes I've ever made! I never have pancake mix hanging around so I made my own with 2/3 regular flour and 1/3 whole wheat. I also omitted the walnuts since my husband doesn't like them. I just toasted some and added them to the top of mine. I will definitely be making these again!!

Best-Ever Meat Loaf
The first time I made this recipe I didn't read the directions very well because I was in a hurry. I ended up putting the whole can of soup and the water in with the rest of the meatloaf. It turned out to be really good that way, but a little salty. I just made this again the right way and it was even better. I ended up putting the soup and water mix over the meatloaf about half way through the cooking process and it was great! I also added some French's onions to the top. I will definitely make this again!

Apple Crisp II
This was absolutely amazing! It is the perfect fall recipe. I can't wait to try this topping over cherries and pears. I cut back to 3/4 cup white sugar because I wanted to taste more apple, but I didn't think about cutting back on the water...note to self for next time. Anyways, I loved it!
