About this Cook
I was married July 4th, 2010 and have been struggling with cooking ever since. I come from a long line of pathetic cookers (no offense, Mom!) My Mom hates to cook, and my Dad hates to eat :) Anyway, I was quite shell-shocked trying to ease into married life and cooking. Thankfully, my wonderful husband cooked most of the time since he gets home from work an hour before me. But, now that he is starting grad school, I am trying to step up my game and make quick, easy things that we can eat more than once. I am hoping to get things under control before we decide to have children of our own! I am learning, slowly but surely. Perhaps one day I will even enjoy it! :)
My favorite things to cook
Tofu and turkey lasagna Turkey Chili Pizza Bagels Crockpot stuff!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Uh...NA lol
My cooking triumphs
"Triumphs" would be a stretch! :)
My cooking tragedies
I could write a book. One of the most noteworthy tragedies, was when I tried to make tofu, vegetable and garlic soup. This was when I learned the difference between a CLOVE of garlic and a BULB of garlic. 3 bulbs later, my soup was ruined! :p

Buckeyes I
This recipe is perfect. I would never deprive it of the 6 cups of powdered sugar! :)

Zucchini Bread IV
Very good recipe, but I wish it was a bit healthier. I also subbed out 1 cup of zucchini for 1 cup of vegetable pulp from my juicer. I'd like to try to get away with less sugar next time.
