This month the Allstars were paired up with Johnsonville sausage and Oreida. We ended up eating all of our Oreida zesty twirls french fries in just a couple of days, they are so perfectly crunchy with so much flavor. We ate them with teriyaki
hamburgers for dinner and ham sandwiches for a quick lunch. We also bought some of the crispy crowns, we ate ours as snacks dipped in ketchup, but I think they would be perfect in a hash brown casserole. I'm definitely going to buy some more and give it a
try. Their frozen hashbrowns were also a hit in my household, I used them in my chorizo breakfast recipe and they had such a strong fresh flavor even covered in the chorizo and guacamole. Now for the sausage, the first recipe I made was the Italian sausage
rigatoni because it looked so good I just couldn't wait. This recipe is my absolute favorite way to eat sausage, which usually isn't my favorite meat. The bell peppers gave it such a fresh flavor with a big crunch. I also made their easy sausage pizza recipe
which is a good base pizza but is lacking if followed exactly. Also in the recipe they say to put raw sausage on the pizza then cook it which is a horrible idea, it covers the pizza in grease and the meat might not cook all the way through. I cooked mine on
stove top, drained it, then also smashed the meat between paper towels. So far this month has been filled with delicious recipes and I hope it continues, but now I've got to try to make a delicious turkey for thanksgiving! This will be my first whole turkey
I've cooked so wish me luck!!
here's my chorizo breakfast recipe if your interested.
