This month the Allstars were paired up with Johnsonville sausage and Oreida. We ended up eating all of our Oreida zesty twirls french fries in just a couple of days, they are so perfectly crunchy with so much flavor. We ate them with teriyaki hamburgers for dinner and ham sandwiches for a quick lunch. We also bought some of the crispy crowns, we ate ours as snacks dipped in ketchup, but I think they would be perfect in a hash brown casserole. I'm definitely going to buy some more and give it a try. Their frozen hashbrowns were also a hit in my household, I used them in my chorizo breakfast recipe and they had such a strong fresh flavor even covered in the chorizo and guacamole. Now for the sausage, the first recipe I made was the Italian sausage rigatoni because it looked so good I just couldn't wait. This recipe is my absolute favorite way to eat sausage, which usually isn't my favorite meat. The bell peppers gave it such a fresh flavor with a big crunch. I also made their easy sausage pizza recipe which is a good base pizza but is lacking if followed exactly. Also in the recipe they say to put raw sausage on the pizza then cook it which is a horrible idea, it covers the pizza in grease and the meat might not cook all the way through. I cooked mine on stove top, drained it, then also smashed the meat between paper towels. So far this month has been filled with delicious recipes and I hope it continues, but now I've got to try to make a delicious turkey for thanksgiving! This will be my first whole turkey I've cooked so wish me luck!!

here's my chorizo breakfast recipe if your interested.<

About Me
I am a full time student. I love to cook when I have the time. I love to bake and cook anything. We have lots of pets which include red eared slider turtles, purple pincher hermit crabs, goldfish, cats, pygmy goat, and jersey giant chickens. I love animals, you can never have too many pets! I also am a member of the Allrecipes. Allstars which I love, it's so fun to try new foods and cooking with new ingredients.
My favorite things to cook
Chicken!! It's good a million ways and I like them all!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pinto beans and cornbread :)
My cooking tragedies
Potato cakes: I thought to myself, potato cakes psh that is soooo easy. Yeah right, they fell apart into a mush pile in my skillet and took about thirty minutes to finally get crunchy and cooked. But they were so oily it took about five paper towels to de-oil just two potato piles! Never again will I attempt to make these.
