About this Cook
I am thirteen, but all the ladies on my mom's side of the family are GREAT cooks, so I inherited the good cooking genes. : )
My favorite things to cook
Hmmm...I like to cook about everything. I love to try new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom and her family are Italian, so we usually make lots of pasta and bread.
My cooking triumphs
I was sooo proud of myself when I made oven roasted potatoes and kababs all by myself for my first time. A+!
My cooking tragedies
None...(Just kidding!) When I made waffles for the first time was probably the worst experience I've had cooking. I put way too much batter on the waffle maker, and it started coming out the sides. Opps.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes
Omg, what can I say about these cupcakes besides that THEY ARE SCRUMPTIOUS! I followed the recipe to the T, and they came out moist and delicious. I made them for a party for some of my friends who were visiting, and everyone loved them. It's definitely a recipe worth making again and again.

Red Velvet Cupcakes
De-lish!!! I made these cupcakes for my little brother's football team, and everyone loved them. The only thing I changed in the cake recipe was that I used green food coloring instead of red because his team colors were green (cake) and white (frosting). I also made the frosting recipe more sweet and less cream chessey because little kids like it that way. I prefer the frosting recipe as it is though. Definitely a recipe I will use time and time again.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant
I have never made fondant before, but I followed the recipe exactly. The fondant came out greasy and soft. It tasted great, but it tore very easily, and I couldn't get it to hold its shape. I wonder it you can't make fondant that tastes great and works well at the same times. :(
