Chinese New Year Turnip Cake

Easy Turkey Curry

I used 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in place of turkey and, like others, doubled the curry. Delicious!

I wasn't sure this would turn out so well without the butter, but I didn't have any and this was just about the only baked apple recipe that didn't call for it. I left out the red hots and this was wonderful!

White Chili I

Really good! My husband is a real porkmeister, so he used cut up pork chops, bacon, and kielbasa in addition to the ground pork. This is some seriously porky stuff....

Butternut Squash Casserole

Delightful! I cut both the white and brown sugar back to 3/4c and it's definitely sweet enough. I was out of vanilla wafers so I used graham crackers instead. Really good!

Turkey Sausage Pie

Oh GOSH this is good! I used regular bulk pork sausage, a little less sauce (maybe 2/3c) and, since I didn't have pizza crust, I used refrigerated biscuit dough. I also topped it with mozzarella cheese since mine didn't have a "lid." The whole family loved it.

Fresh Tomato Pie

I loved this! I took the advice of other reviewers and cooked the onions first and seeded the tomatoes. It was still a bit too juicy but tasted great. I also topped it with about 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Carrot Casserole

I loved this! I used 2 cans of carrots instead of fresh and it was SO easy to make. I think the sugar could be cut down a bit, depending on your taste, and it definitely takes longer than 1/2 hr to cook.
