About this Cook
Minnesota girl, born and raised. I love baking and cooking. My friends tell me I'm a food snob which I blame on my parents for making even leftovers seem gourmet.
My favorite things to cook
I'm a pasta girl. I'll eat anything with pasta or cheese.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cookie bake every winter. It's a lot of work to organize but I love having everyone together and seeing all the various skill levels and ideas.
My cooking triumphs
Scones and Cookies. I've won several ribbons/awards for them.
My cooking tragedies
Caramel. I just can't do it.

Chocolate Banana Bread
Great bread and I used many of the suggested changes from other reviews. Butter, instead of margarine, 1/2 white - 1/2 brown sugar, and I used full fat sour cream, not light. My co-workers loved it!

Mini Candy Bar Cookies
I wasn't overly impressed with these cookies. I think the cake mix flavor was too much for me.
