I'll give this recipe 5 stars. Made it for the ist time today and really enjoyed the recipe. However I think I will add Cumin and Red Peppers next time for more depth and Kick to the meat. When making the sauce I did not realize that the vinegar is supposed to thicken the sauce So I cooked the sauce to a rolling boil for a few minutes. Added a little dill. The sauce gives the donair its authentic flavour. Once cooled in the fridge is was exactly the right consistency and the taste is awesome. Will make this recipe again for sure. Everyone Loved it.

Pork Medallions

I loved this recipe. Had to cook it myself after I read a review that Pork Tenderloins were tough. How can that be. They were tender just as I expected. Maybe the reviewer used the wrong type of meat.

Strawberry Refrigerator Cake

I've been making a version of this cake for years. I definitely use white cake, After baking while still warm I poke holes in it with the handle of a wooden spoon. the more the better. This is how to add puree or on the alternative Either strawberry, Rasberry or Cherry Jello with 1/2 the water specified on the box. I drizzle this into the holes and then refrigerate. And prepare the Vanilla Pudding. I prefer real whipped cream instead of the fake topping. While I love the strawberry version of this cake. I also use fruit cocktail instead, which is the way I've made it for years. Its always a hit. I usually make in a 9x13 pan, but I've also tried a two layer cake using spring form pans. Layers can be hard to remove due to the jello or puree. With the layer cake, fruit & Pudding Whip Cream Mixture between layers, on top, and fully iced with the whipped mixture. When it works It is the talk of the party. The Ingredients in either the Strawberry or the Fruit Cocktail cake make an excellent triffle as well. I get requests for this reciple in one form or another every year.

Tangy Shrimp Dip

This is a staple for us on Festive Occassions. And a hit at parties. We double the recipe and do two large platters. Rather than using canned shrimp we purchase fresh shrimp and finely chop it. We also add one can of flaked crab meat. The whole thing is finished with mozza and we add lots extra. This dish tastes best after it has been refrigerated. When we serve it we use the mini round tortilla chips. Individual size for dipping. It never lasts.

Flatlander Chili

This is an excellent Chili, thick and tasty. I used it as a base for Chili This year. I make a Huge Batch in a Large Canning Pot and then freeze for days I am looking for a fast meal. I used industrial crushed tomatoes, also added some corn and mushroom as well as Jalapeno peppers. The chili used in your recipe is good as it is but I had a lot of seasoning to add.

Brandy Flamed Peppercorn Steak

An Excellent Recipe for Impressing one's Guests. I use this receipe for minute steak or rouleden as well. Also use white Wine or Red. A Great Way to Fancy Up Inexpensive Steaks. I usually serve with Mushrooms, Baked Potaoe and Salad. Family and Friends just can't get enough.
