Plum Buckle

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
Can you say FANTASTIC??? My family purchased a case of plums for very cheap. I decided to try this recipe after we got tired of eating them plain. So good!!!! I will be making this again, and will be trying it with other fruit as well. I alternated the flour and milk when I mixed it, and eliminated the mess that others spoke of. I might add some sugar to the fruit the next time, but only because prefer my fruit sweetened. Also make sure your using baking powder instead of the soda that another reviewer mentioned. But DELICIOUS! You must try it.

Stuffed Cranberry Apples

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
I made this recipe with my 7 yr old daughter. It was easy enough that I cored the apples and showed her how to wrap them, and she did the rest. They are a delicious twist to the baked apple. We'll be making these again! Thanks for the recipe

Hot Pepper Sauce - A Trinidadian Staple

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
we were super disappointed with this recipe. We cut the peppers down to 10 like some of the other reviews, but it was still WAY to hot. So we made a second batch and cut this one down to 4 peppers, which made it tolerable, but we didn't care for the flavor. Sorry

Habanero Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
This was way to sweet, and REALLY runny. Maybe it would be better if you used another type of pepper. We only put in 3 habanero peppers and it was still to hot to enjoy. I won't be waisting my money on the high priced ing in this recipe again. Sorry!!!

Cherry Danish

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
I made these little guys for a bake sale. They were gone before it even started. I used Jumbo flaky cressants, though. I Spritzed my hands with cooking Spray, and rolled the dough between my palms like a pretzel. Then I twirled it on the tray into a circle so that there were no holes and proceeded with the recipe. DELICIOUS!!! Will def make these again

Creamy Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
YUMMY!!! I whipped this together an hour before dinner. My family loves lemon meringue pie so this was perfect for us. It sat up quick and easily for me because I had no lemonade concentrate so I added one pack of sugar free lemonade drink mix. It gave it the kick it needed and with the fat free cream cheese I used, it made it low fat.

Boiled Tongue

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Oh this is delicious but I take this recipe one step further by using my families old recipe. After cooking and slicing the tongue, dip it in egg or milk and fluff it with flour. Then fry it in butter or lard till browned. season with salt and pepper. It's out of this world delicious. I slipped it to my BF, which can be a fussy eater, and he flipped. Now he tells everyone they have to try it!!!!
