Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

I made only the sauce from this recipe and sauteed chicken and served the sauce over the chicken, steamed green beans, and brown rice. My husband loved it! It didn't thicken as much as I would have hoped, but I think that was my fault. It was delicious though!

Peach Cobbler

The taste of this cobbler and texture of the inside was doughy. Had I cooked it through more though it would have burned the top. I went ahead and added double the peaches as most of the reviews said. I would have added even more to counteract the doughiness. Overall, an ok dessert, but I won't make it again from this recipe. It just wasn't all that impressive to me.

Banana Banana Bread

This banana bread has a ton of banana in it. I LOVE it! I added about 2 tsp cinnamon to the recipe and it turned out wonderfully!

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

I loved this recipe. The only problem was the proportion of cream cheese filling. I made the first batch with the recommended 1 tsp. This made for a yummy cupcake but with very little filling, simply a white chipped streak through the bottom... I filled about 1/5 of the cup with batter, then 1 TBSP of cream cheese, then just enough batter to cover the cream cheese. This way it turned out amazing!!!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

I made this pork and it was delicious. I did listen to some of the reviewers though and bought a pork shoulder because I couldn't find boneless ribs. This made the recipe take about 8 hrs in the crockpot total, so it would work out perfectly to make when busy. The boys loved it!

All-Day Apple Butter

I made this apple butter but only made 1/3 of the recipe otherwise I would be drowning in apple butter. It still made a ton! I cut the sugar for the sweetness of the apples because it was a TON of sugar and I added a pinch of nutmeg to the recipe to give it a little more apple pie flavor. Delicious!
