Classic Hollandaise Sauce
I always read the reviews before trying a recipe. But was in too much of a hurry tonight. It seized up immediately. I added 4 more egg yolks, more water and a tad more lemon. But it DID come back to life, just not like I'm used to. My other recipe requires you to mix the yolks and water, whisk until frothy, then add the salt, lemon juice and cayanne. Once that's done, add butter a tablespoon at a time. Even with the low stars, I was able to recoup it and save it, it just wasn't as light as I'm used to.

Banana Cream Pie I
My pie turned into banana pudding soup and I'm so disappointed. I would have rated this a little higher if there weren't so many reviews about it being runny or soupy. I used the corn starch and in all fairness, I probably should have let it cook until it got to a more paste consistancy. The recipe just says until thick and bubbly, which mine was. Also, I stupidly used banana's that needed to ripen more. But still, too many runny complaints caused me to give this 2 stars. I'm so sad. :*(

Crusty White Bread
I must have done something wrong. I followed the recipe but the mix seemed too "runny", never really forming a dough, even after adding an additional 2 cups of flour. It's still proofing right now so if it all turns out good anyway, I'll come back and re review. Maybe it was an error on my part.
