About this Cook
I like having anything to do with spices and experimenting with them. I love food alone, but my interest grew and grew growing up and helping out in the kitchen. It started out with baking then cooking. I never thought I would end up in the kitchen though for real until I decided I wanted to become a real Chef and enrolled into a Culinary College. I hope to someday open my own food place. I hope to someday call it Lexi&Bonnie's. After me and my Grandmother who inspired me.
My favorite things to cook
It all depends on my mood, but I like to cook casserole's and bake yummy treats. Anything I can get my hands on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother when she was my age and younger started to collect recipes and she even started to make her own. Year later after I was born, just about a few months ago I discovered them. She had given me every single recipe she ever had. It was a gift for me going into the Culinary world of cooking and baking. As of today she is making me all new books full of them. My mom did confess she too wished she had took up Culinary. She was jealous.
My cooking triumphs
In some of my last few fazes of cooking in school before baking and pastry. I had learned how to create over 20 dishes with just one item. For my final, I had to create some dish with fresh lobster. I ended up creating a spicy Indian bowl. I made a spicy lobster salad. Which i will be posting on here soon. But I ended up getting a praise for my work.
My cooking tragedies
Sauces. I always had trouble with sauces. One day at class I had to create a pan sauce with ingredients listed on the screen. Well working with a partner I completely was all over the place.
