Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2007
This was NOT what I expected... I used less sugar, thinking I could add more if it needed it and wished I hadn't at all. It had a very sweet/sour taste to it, not the manwich taste I was looking for.. I probably won't be making this again. PS: it was th efirst time my hubby or kids have had it, and I was going on and on about how much they will like them, remembering what my Mom served when I was a kid. They thought i wa crazy LOL.

Spanish Cod

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
This was excellent! The only changes I made was I didn't have marinated veggies so I used the advice of another and used some canned artichoke and I didn't use cherry tomatoes, but thickly sliced zucchini. My girls are 4 and 7 and they ate this up. Husband claimed to be 'not feeling well' but ended up having seconds. it was more stew-like that I thought it would be, but that didn't change the great flavor.

Crab Salad III

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2003
I just came back to reprint this recipe. It is fabulous. Everyone loved it. Goes great with the grilled chicken with herbs http://chicken.allrecipes.com/AZ/GrilledChickenwithHerbs.asp Def a keeper in this salad-picky house. The black olives really made it interesting. (I have to leave out the radishes)

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2003
I love this salad. I leave out the pasta and just do it all veggie (with sunflwer seeds of course) I also use finely chopped dates they are less sweet than raisins. My suggestion to those who disliked it the first time, use MAYONNAISE not MIRACLE WHIP or salad dressing. This makes a HUGE difference in most salads that call for Mayo. There IS no substitute for mayo.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
All my life I hated meatloaf. I only made this because my husband had been requesting meatloaf. Even after reading the great reviews.. I was apprehensive. Now I can only say, I wish my mother had this recipe. I am about to make it for the 4th time since I first made it 4 months ago. It has become not my my husband's.. but my favorite!!! Thanks A new meatloaf recruit...Margot

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2001
I LOVED these cookies. So did my very picky husband and finicky 2 year old. I did have to guess at whether to roll into balls and press down or to drop from spoon (did the balls and pressed down) and I used a little over a TBSP for each cookie (this was not noted either)
