About this Cook
hi, i'm Persida. i loved cooking and baking since i was very young. i am 14 years old but i cook everything for the family. my mom says she already misses the kitchen with me in it so much :)))
My favorite things to cook
i love to bake alot. making cakes is my passion. i also love making food from my grandmas nationality. also, i enjoy making "pelimeni". someday i'll put the recipe up here.
My favorite family cooking traditions
my mom likes russian food, my grandma taught me how to make "gagauskiy" (its a kind of moldovian type of food). very good :)
My cooking triumphs
ive always been kinda proud that ive made my first "borsh" when i was 10. my first pie was when i was about 8 years old.
My cooking tragedies
once i put salt instead of sugar in my cookies. my mom wouldnt let me bake anything for a month. but then that happened to her so she said "everyone makes mistakes once in a while"

Sour Cream Pound Cake
i loved it when i saw it. it didnt finish baking yet but i tried the batter and it was delicious !!! i wanted to eat it without the baking part! im pretty sure my family would love it. the recipe itself tells you if something would be good or not

Unbelievably Good Fruit Dip
i made a mistake by putting pear juice instead of lemon juice and i put a little too much so it turned out kinda liquid. had to refrigerate it for a while. otherwise it was awesome. :)))
