About this Cook
I am 21 years old. I have been cooking ever since my parents divorced when I was 14. My dad couldn't cook so I did it for him. Im now married to my high school sweetheart. He is in the Army and we are stationed at Fort Drum. Hopefully that will change soon. We have a very smart two year old, hes my pride and joy.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. I bake things and go to craft shows and sell them. I also like crock pot ideas. On the days i work I make sure to plan a meal that can cook in a slow cooker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am from the south. So far my favorite family tradition started last year. My husband knows a bunch of single soldiers that live to far away from their families to go home for the holidays. So, they come to my house and have a southern Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
Im not sure.
My cooking tragedies
Im embarrassed to admit but biscuits....I have gone through 7 recipes and I still cant make biscuits like my grandma. Its a sad sad thing...

Baked Chicken In a Sweet BBQ Sauce
My suggestion is to use half of the cumin that was called for. The cumin flavor was overwhelming to me. Other than that it was great.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
That was delish. I have a picky three year old, and I never thought he was going to stop eating lol. I used sweet baby rays sauce.

Alice Chicken
5 stars. When I lived in NC there was an Outback steak house, everytime I went I would order the alice chicken. I now live in NY and there is not an outback, but this recipe must be theirs. It taste just like it.
