Butternut Squash Soup

Love this Recipe! My husband will tell you its the reason he asked me out. I do some things different. I cut the squash in half, rub it with olive oil and roast it until it's tender. I use chicken stalk in place of bouillon and water, real butter, 1 teaspoon of cayenne and only 1 package of cream cheese. I make this soup every fall.

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts I

My grandma has been making these tasty little morsels for years. She would do one thing different though. She wrapped the chestnuts in bacon, baked them until brown and then dipped each one in the sauce with a toothpick and arranged them nicely on a plate... So easy, yet so good...
